✨ Effective communication is essential. I aim to respond to parent messages within 24 hours on weekdays. In the classroom, I provide a monthly suggested supply list and voluntary weekly homework recommendations. After each class, I send a brief note to celebrate progress.

🍅 I always order lasagna at Olive Garden. I agree with Garfield that lasagna is nature's most perfect food.
🌞 I love to paint sunrises & sunsets because I feel the start and end of the day are magical!
🖼️ My favorite TV show is The Landscape Artist because it feels like stepping into a time machine, and experiencing the world in the same way that once inspired the Great Master painters.

My son really enjoyed this class. I love how it's a little mix of science and art, both subjects I've found difficult to incorporate into our home school life. I think it's nice that the teacher played music while they were drawing too. Highly recommend this class!

My daughter loves this art class and looks forward to it every week! It is a great mix of light activity with stretching and yoga and channeling her creative juices. Mrs. K is the best and encourages all the students to be themselves and creates a safe space. We will definitely be life-long students with Mrs. K!

What happens if my son/daughter is not able to come to art class on some days (we are busy people)?
No worries, your child can catch up by following along with the class video or pausing the class at busy times.
What if I do not feel like I have art talent?
Oh, but you do! Take this class and find your inner artist!!!! I believe that all students have artistic talent!!!!
How will I know what art supplies to get?
You can start with some basic art supplies like paper, pencil, and paint or crayons. I'll also provide a list of suggested special materials that go with the weekly theme like clay, oil pastels, or recycled materials. Although, I always provide an alternative that fits the materials you already have at home.
What types of themes are there with Studio Art?
Watercolors, Acrylics, Clay, Oil Pastel, Crafts, Art History, Elements of Art, Animal Art, Vacation Art and so many more.....
Do you teach private lessons?
Yes, I can help you with art history, art praxis test preparation, watercolors, acrylics, oils, or studio art.
During class can students show off some artwork that was created outside of class?
